Jean Zakka has carved his mark in the world of industrial processing and packaging machines, as the 3rd generation CEO of Zakka Multitec, a family business established +8 decades ago in 1942. It is a leading supplier of machines and complete lines for the Food, Beverage, Dairy, Pharma and Home & Personal care industries. A graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a degree in Business and a triple emphasis in Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Jean's journey into the corporate world began at 19 when he joined the family business. His ascent was remarkable as he assumed the role of CEO at the age of 27 in 2014. Under his dynamic leadership, Zakka Multitec established subsidiaries in 8 countries within 9 years, such as Ivory Coast in West Africa, Kenya in East Africa, Saudi Arabia in the Middle East and recently the UK where the headquarters are now based. He tripled the company size, representing +80 European brands across all branches, with exports to +40 countries, and executed backward integration by establishing Zakka Industries, an engineering and manufacturing arm for the production of Filling and Labeling machines and complete lines in Lebanon. This bold move has solidified Zakka Multitec's position as a single-source industry leader, with end-to-end capabilities. He combines his entrepreneurial acumen with a genuine passion for his craft, which has propelled Zakka Multitec to the forefront of the industry, whilst maintaining the family business values.
