Jamil Haddad is the VP of Strategic Marketing at Al Bayader International. In his role, Jamil oversees Al Bayader International’s strategy execution and also functionally manages the Marketing, Sustainability, Product Management, and Customer Service teams. Moreover, as a member of Al Bayader’s Executive Team, Jamil is responsible for the general management of the group alongside the other members of the Executive Team. During his time at Al Bayader, Jamil has worked closely on widening the range of Al Bayader International’s sustainable products and has introduced some of the world’s most sustainable materials to the regional market, including Al Bayader International’s star sustainability product Gaia. In doing so, he had a key role in widening Al Bayader’s customer base for innovative and sustainable products. In addition, Jamil has focused on rendering Al Bayader International’s operations more sustainable, overseeing the development of a solar rooftop and sewage treatment plant in the Jebel Ali factory – a factory which today has reduced its carbon footprint by 710 tons annually. Jamil, born and raised in the UAE, has graduated from the University of Bristol, UK with a MSc in Advanced Composites; the London School of Economics, UK with a MSc in Philosophy of Science; and the American University in Sharjah, UAE with a dual degree in BSc Mechanical Engineering and in BA International Studies.
