Heiko Feuring is the President and CEO of the Middle East, Africa and India region for Bühler, a global leader in food processing and advanced materials equipment and technologies. With over 25 years of experience, including 15 years in Africa, Heiko has extensive strategic and opera-tional expertise in the food and beverage process-technology business. Prior to joining Bühler, Heiko held several significant roles at Krones AG, where he had global strategic and operational responsibilities. He was the Head of the Business Line for Process Technology and Plant Manager at Steinecker Ltd. in Germany, managing quotation processing, engineering, manufacturing, and various other departments.
Heiko has a proven track record of establishing new business setups across several African countries, including Angola, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Ethiopia. As the Managing Director of LCS Center Africa and other regional subsidiaries, he transformed third-party service setups into corporate busi-nesses and enhanced existing sales structures into competent base centers with shared services func-tions. Earlier in his career, Heiko was the Vice President and Director of Systems Engineering at Krones Inc. in the USA.
Heiko’s expertise spans various aspects of business development, from strategic planning and mergers to implementing workflows and procedures. His extensive knowledge of the African and Middle Eastern markets, combined with his hands-on approach, has significantly contributed to the growth and success of the organizations he has been part of.
Heiko holds a degree in Food Technology from Technical University of Munich, Germany and is fluent in German and English. Heiko’s leadership is driven by the principle of “leading through example,” inspiring others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.
