The FFS technology is a combination of several processes: cups are thermoformed from plastic sheet, filled with product, hermetically sealed with a film or foil and cut into singles or multi-packs – all on the same machine. FFS has three principal economic and environmental assets: reduction in the use of plastic by having wraparound paper labelling, high levels of hygiene and minimum working space for a compact machine. The form, fill & seal machines of the EF-series offer a wide range of possible applications, the opportunity to have unique container shapes and product formats with rapid change overs in volumes and cutting in singles or multipacks. The machines have an ouput range up to 80.400 cups/h.
